In June 2016, Jackson Steel commenced the fabrication and erection of 60 tonnes of structural steelwork plus associated roof and wall cladding.
The project consisted of a single storey portal frame structure 60m long x 25m wide x 9m high to the ridge. The building was split into five individual units, each having a mezzanine floor and access stair.
The roof was clad with KS1000RW ( 150 ) composite panel sheeting incorporating translucent panels and electrically operated smoke vents.
The walls were clad using a combination of KS1000RW ( 150 ) composite panel laid vertically and KS1000/900/600MR ( 150 ) composite panel laid horizontally.
The cladding package was completed with rainwater goods and polyester powder coated rainwater pipes.
